Pre-Session Requirements
Calendar Invitation & Zoom Access
Accept the calendar invitation sent by the DEL Committee, which includes the Zoom link. Most sessions will include two 30-minute presentations, so confirm which half-hour slot you occupy. Join 15 minutes early to test screen-sharing and audio capabilities.
Registration & Promotion
Share the Eventbrite registration page with colleagues. Find links on the DEL In Between PR schedule page.
Technical Preparation
- Sessions are recorded and uploaded to DEL’s Vimeo channel for archival and extended access
Release Form Submission
Complete and return the Release Form to delconference@arts.ac.uk. Contact this address if you have not received it.
Presentation Guidelines
Slide Accessibility Standards
- Minimum font size: 23 point
- Preferred fonts: sans-serif (Arial, Calibri, Helvetica)
- Verify color contrast using tools like contrastchecker.com
Timing & Audience Engagement
Rehearse your presentation to fit the allocated timeframe: 15-minute presentation / 10-minute Q&A. This structure encourages participant interaction during sessions.
Day-of Instructions
Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time to test your presentation delivery and audio quality via Zoom.
