Thanks to the CHAVÓN Parsons 2+2 agreement, students who successfully complete their studies at CHAVÓN, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, meet admission requirements and English proficiency standards required by Parsons, have the opportunity to continue their education in New York and earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree.
This offers three key advantages:
- Economic Benefit: Completing the first years at CHAVÓN represents a significant reduction in tuition and living costs compared to studying four full years in New York. Students accepted to Parsons can obtain their bachelor’s degree with a lower investment without compromising educational quality.
- Language: The CHAVÓN Parsons 2+2 program allows students to strengthen their English proficiency while completing their first years at CHAVÓN, where classes are taught in Spanish. To facilitate this transition, students have the option to take an English as a Second Language (ESL) course before entering Parsons.
- Cultural, Social, and Academic Transition: During their first years at CHAVÓN, students immerse themselves in a demanding and structured academic environment, preparing for the intensity of professional art and design education. By completing this stage in a familiar setting, they can focus on their creative development without immediately facing the adaptation challenges of a city like New York.
